'New England Wildflowers' Exhibition

The theme of our 2024 exhibition at Tower Hill is “New England Wildflowers”.

Wildflowers will be defined as plants that grow in the wild without having to be tended or cared for by people. They can be either native or naturalized. The subject doesn’t have to be a native plant, but it must grow on its own in New England; for instance, the New York aster (Symphyotrichum novi-belgii) is not a native but is found in all six New England States.   Because wildflowers are often thought of as an herbaceous plant, we will not include a vine, tree, or shrub. We will also exclude cultivars that have been modified from their original form.
