NESBA Exhibit Request

We invite our members to propose and coordinate local exhibits in their own towns or areas. Local libraries, gardens, nature sanctuaries, and art centers are great venues for botanical art shows, which help NESBA promote it’s mission to promote public appreciation of the art and science of botanical art and illustration in New England.

If you would like to propose a NESBA exhibit, please follow these guidelines:

  1. Contact Us with the location, estimated dates, and summary of the exhibit you would like to plan. A member of our Board or our Exhibits Chair will respond to you with next steps and details, including approvals to proceed to step 2. This is done to ensure that we can coordinate various exhibits and eliminate any overlap with other NESBA planned exhibits or other member-requested exhibits in the same or nearby towns.

  2. After receiving the go-ahead from your NESBA contact, reach out to the venue and complete the full Exhibit Venue Questionnaire. As there are many points to consider with an exhibit, this will help ensure that all of the important questions are answered prior to scheduling a show.

  3. Submit the completed Questionnaire to your NESBA contact person (from Step 1).

Further details will be planned on a per-show basis.

Thank you for considering planning a NESBA exhibit! We depend on our members to help promote our pursuit of botanical art, and we appreciate your support and efforts.
