Colored Pencil for Watercolorists with Margaret Best - Zoom Workshop
November 4th, 5th, and 6th, 2025
9:30 AM - 4:30 PM (with a 1 hour break for lunch)
In this workshop Margaret will instruct participants in how to layer colored pencil with water color to elevate the luminosity of their work.
Margaret will send each participant the materials list and a booklet prior to workshop. The registration fee includes a ½ hour session with Margaret after the workshop to review your work.

REFUND POLICY: Prior to the program’s start date, registration fees are refundable minus a processing fee provided we are able to fill your spot. If we are unable to fill your spot, your registration fee is non-refundable and may be considered a tax-exempt dona1on to NESBA.

INSTRUCTOR BIO
Botanical artist and tutor Margaret Best was born in South Africa and now lives and works in Nova Scotia, Canada. Margaret studied fine arts at the University of Calgary and later completed master watercolour classes with renowned botanical artists Anne Marie Evans, Pandora Sellars, and Katie Lee. She has exhibited her botanical paintings around the world and her artworks have been included in numerous American Society of Botanical Art international exhibitions in the USA. Her work is in the collections of the Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation, the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, and numerous private and corporate collections around the globe
