Welcome to NESBA’s Fall 2026 digital exhibit. This non-juried digital exhibit features the work of NESBA members.

Woodland settings can provide great inspiration for botanical artists. This collection of artwork that invites you to look more closely at the living textures, forms, and stories found beneath the forest canopy.

In this digital exhibit, we focus on the rich, intimate world of woodland flora — from  towering trees and moss-covered stones to ferns, fungi, seeds, bark, lichens, and fleeting seasonal details. Artists have interpreted the theme broadly: celebrating scientific observation,  capturing the mystery of forest habitats, or revealing the quiet beauty found along a woodland path.  Art mediums utilized include watercolor, colored pencil, graphite, ink wash, and graphitint.
