"Botanical Sketching: Nature, Learning, Creativity."

Through the pages of her sketchbooks, Giacomina Ferrillo will demonstrate the importance of this discipline—not merely as a technical tool, but also as a means of fostering a deeper appreciation of nature. She will showcase various botanical drawing techniques and offer advice on selecting subjects, page layout, the use of color and lettering, and the additional elements that create a harmonious, visually pleasing page. By sharing her passion for botanical sketching, Giacomina will show that, with constant practice, the process evolves into a powerful artistic medium and a work of art in its own right.
